Ingredients
- Ground chicken or keema - 250 gm
- Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
- Tomato - 2
- Green chili - 2
- Green peas / Matar - 1/4 cup
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
- Lemon - 1 tbsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tbsp
- Pepper - 1/4 tbsp
- Garam masala - 1 tbsp
- Salt
- Coriander - For garnish
- Oil
- Bay leaf - 1
- Cumin - 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon - 1 small stick
- Cardamom - 2
- Cloves - 2
- In a pan add oil and spices,fry spices till they sizzle.
- After spices sizzle add onions,green chilli and ginger garlic paste.
- After onions turn translucent add tomato,peas and fry until tomato turns soft.
- Now add turmeric,chilli,salt,garam masala and cook them until raw smell goes off.
- Add kheema/chicken to this mixture and cook them on a low flame.
- On a low flame cover and cook till the chicken is soft approximately around 20mins.Sprinkle little water if needed.
- Add coriander leaves and lemon just before you turnoff the stove.
- Ground chicken matar masala is ready to serve.
