Mint Squash

Well mint juice is a excellent cooler for summer season.As we know mint leaves have a warm,fresh,very aromatic and sweet flavor with cool after taste. Mint are widely used in different types of dishes.
This juice is very simple to prepare and makes a refreshing drink.This is prepared without any preservatives and can be stored for almost a month.

Ingredients

  1. Mint leaves - 1 cup
  2. Sugar - 1 cups
  3. Green color (optional)
  4. Lemon - 1
  5. Water - 2 cup

Procedure:

  • Wash the mint leaves allow it to dry for few minutes and keep it aside.
  • Now take a separate heavy bottomed bowl add sugar,water,color to it and mix it well.
  • Now boil this mixture for approximately 10 mins to make a sugar syrup.
  • Once it done turn off the flame.
  • Now mix both i.e., sugar syrup and dried mint leaves.
  • Mix it well,sieve the mixture and allow it to cool totally .
  • Now add lemon to this mixture and mix it well.
  • Later fill this juice in a bottle and store in the refrigerator.
  • When you want to drink,take 1 part of concentrated mint squash and mix 3 times the quantity of water into it,mix it well put ice cubes and serve it chill.
