Rich Rose Milk

Rich Rose milk

 Preparation time - 15mins     Presentation Time-2mins     Serving-2 to 3     Calorie-75/serving

Milk is the source of vitamin for new born to octogenarian but most of the kids savor milk only if its flavored.
How about adding natural, home made rich Rose flavor to this milk.
Sounds relishing? It is not only relishing but also easy to make cooling refreshing drink. The rose milk is topped up with sabja seed, semiya and almond. This sounds rich in protein, isn't it, hence I have named it as rich rose milk.
You can serve this rose milk immediately or you can refrigerate it.But I would love to keep it in fridge and serve.

Ingredients
  • Chilled milk  - 2cups
  • Rose powder or syrup  - 3tbps/3tbps syrup
  • Sugar - 2 to 4tbps or add as required
  • Almond paste - 2tbps
  • Semiya
  • Sabja seed
  • Ice cubes optional.
  • Ice cream
Procedure
  • First step soak sabja seeds in water for about 20mins,1tbps of sabja seeds gives about 2tbps of soaked sabja seeds.
  • Next boil semiya and allow it cool down.
  • In a bowl add milk, sugar, almond paste and allow it boil for around 15mins,and set it to cool down. You can even refrigerate it for quicker cooling.
  • After it comes to room temperature, add rose powder or few drops of rose essence, add as per your flavor and mix it well.
  • If you don't like paalaadai/milk skin you can filter it.
Presentation
  • To assemble in a glass add 1 tbps of sabja seed, next layer add1tbps of semiya.
  • Next slowly pour the chilled rose milk till 3/4 of glass.
  • Next add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
