Egg Pulav

Chicken eggs are widely used in many types of dishes,both in sweet and savory including baked foods. Protein in cooked eggs are more rather than raw eggs and cooked ones are easy to digest.
Egg Pulav is a popular dish it makes a feast for taste buds and its a perfect lunch with less masala when compared to biryani and simple to cook.It taste delicious.
Normally pulav tastes a bit sweet here this tastes spicy if you like to add more spicy add chilies more.


Ingredients:

  1. Cooked rice - 2 cup
  2. Eggs - 3
  3. Onion - 1
  4. Tomato - 1
  5. Green chilli - 4 to 5(slited)
  6. Ginger Gralic paste - 1 tbps
  7. Turmeric - pinch
  8. Pepper
  9. Mint leaves 
  10. Coriander leaves
  11. Salt
For seasoning:
  1. Oil/Ghee
  2. Bay leaf - 1
  3. Cloves - 2
  4. Jeera - 1/2tbps
  5. Sompu - 1/4 tbps
  6. Cardamom(elachi) - 1
  7. Cinnamon - 1 inch
  8. Star anise -1
  9. Cashew - 6-8

Procedure:

  • Heat ghee/oil in a pan and add whole seasoning ingredients and let them splutter.
  • Now add onion and saute them till they turn transparent now add green chili,tomato,ginger garlic paste,salt and saute them.
  •  Break the eggs and saute them with the above mixture and cook them for 5mins.(as soon as you break egg add little amount of salt,turmeric,pepper and saute them)
  • Now add cooked rice to egg gravy and mix it well and cook for 2 mins
  • Note:If you have taken rice add rice to the gravy add enough water and pressure cook it.
  • Now transfer the egg pulav in serving bowl and garnish it with cashew, coriander leaves...Ready to serve..:)Serve it with raita.
